How to read this table
The table compares what each tool outputs, not how it looks or how easy it is to use. A check mark means the tool generates that format as part of its standard output. "Varies" under PNG Sizes means the tool generates some PNG sizes but not a full range from 16px to 1024px.
The biggest differentiator is the rightmost columns. Most tools generate an ICO and some PNGs. Very few generate a web manifest, social preview images (OG/Twitter), or dark-mode-aware SVGs. Those are the files you end up creating manually if your generator does not include them.
Which one should you pick?
